Title

TERRY MATTHEWS

I was born in Oklahoma and married a beautiful young lady in 1956. We have lived in Albuquerque since 1977.  I have always been interested in art, and experimented with different media from time to time.  But it was only after I was fully retired that I had enough time to seriously try my hand at painting. Since I started, my efforts have gone through several different stages.  I started painting with oil but fairly rapidly changed to acrylic.  My early efforts were realistic, mostly of southwestern landscapes, cave dwellings and rock art. I quickly found that as time passed my work moved toward  impressionism.   Right now, I think of myself as an impressionistic acrylic artist and have developed a style and techniques of my own.  Throughout it all, I have painted things from the southwest - the people and the land.  I hope you enjoy my work.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
