PATRICIA ROSE

Patricia Rose has painted New Mexico landscapes for over 30 years and has won multiple awards for her oil and acrylic works. One of her paintings received three major awards at a State Fair Fine Arts Competition. She has won the Governor’s Award, the State Fair Most Popular Award and the distinction of having four of her works purchased by the State Fair Commission for their permanent collection. Pat’s “artistic signature” uniquely captures the spectacular beauty of light and shadow of the southwest landscape. One of her paintings was selected by PNM (electric company) for reprint and distribution to its customers. Her one woman show with Weems Gallery sold 19 paintings on the first night.  Her paintings can be found from Hawaii to the east coast.
Unfortunately Pat was not able to paint since September 2006 and passed away December 2008. Her paintings and prints testify to her exceptional talent and love of New Mexico.
