Title

John F. Lorne

In the vein of Pop Surrealism, John brings paintings of playful characters, portraits, and self expression executed in mixed media, in both realistic and abstract styles. John’s love for art began in the mid-’70s while watching Saturday morning cartoons and the New York City subway trains that donned colorful names and vibrant characters. Having been born and raised in the Bronx, John was exposed to many peoples and cultures which is reflected in his artwork. Having experienced the joy and power of art to transform one’s life, John is committed to and works with youth to encourage and promote all positive aspects of art.
