Allen MaestasAllen Maestas was born October 17, 1970 to Leonard and Patricia Maestas in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was raised and lived just about all of his life. He now resides in the pretty village of Corrales, New Mexico, on the north-western outskirts of Albuquerque with his extended family. He has two beautiful children, Jordan (11) and Jackson (8). He also has a beautiful and supportive wife Suzanne, whome he loves very much. Allen never considered himself artistic. He states "I can't draw, paint, woodwork, ironwork, or do anything else which could be considred remotely artistic." It wasn't until the digital age of photography that he begain to find himself remotely capable of producing anything that resembled art, or so he says. Over the past 3 years he has immersed himself in actively learning and enjoying the world of photography. Not having the income to travel very far, he has made it somewhat of a quest to capture the beauty of New Mexico, his beloved state. How long will that take him? He just shrugs his shoulders and says, "I don't know, but I figure I have the rest of my life."
