Each artist can submit up to four  images per contest. Images are not to exceed 1024KB in size or 600 pixels in height.  Entries must be submitted by the original artist or photographer. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of the image you submit.

We ask that you do not upload obscene, pornographic, disturbing or otherwise inappropriate images.  These images will not be approved nor posted at the site. ABQ Art Review has sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.  Showdown winners may enter subsequent showdowns, however, they may not use previous winning images to enter.

All participating artists retain full copyrights of their images. ABQ Art Review is merely a sponsor of these art contests and will not profit by them in any way. When you submit an image to an ABQ Art Review contest, you give us the right to display the image anywhere within the ABQ Art Review domain and to resize, convert and recompress the photo for viewing convenience and/or faster loading.  By submitting an image you also agree to our terms of service and state that you have read our privacy policy .

ABQ Art Review reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend all or any portion of a contest without notice if factors beyond control, including technical difficulties, disrupt or corrupt the fair or secure administration or operation of the contest. ABQ Art Review is entitled to interpret the Rules as needed and its decisions are final.

These rules are subject to change without notice.
 
The voting process is by no means the final decision as to who wins the contest. ABQ Art Review maintains ultimate authority in the decision making process and can choose the eventual winner based on a number of factors.  These include:
 
1. Overall Rating
2. Number of Votes
3. Selection and vote by our staff  

Winners will be chosen that have the highest combination of these factors.
