ABQ Art Review aims to be a completely free and user driven web site to showcase the artwork of local New Mexico artists.  Becoming a member of our site costs nothing and only requires that you register and join our community found by following the groups link at the top of the page.  In order to become a featured artist you only need to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. HOW IT STARTED

 

The Art Review came about after I had created a web site for my friend Ralph Greene. I had spent considerable time browsing the web to see what other outlets were available for a local artist wanting to get images published on the web. There were very few options available to say the least! I found a couple of sites that offered hosting and online galleries but I found them to be a bit cluttered and not very nice to look at. I wanted to create a site that was not cluttered with ads and would display art simply and in a way that was aesthetically pleasing. I dabbled with several different layouts and ideas before finally arriving at what you see here. I hope that you enjoy browsing through the work and if you are an artist take advantage of our service.
